Fooling user with fake
security applications has now become very common with Cyber
criminals. Windows Accelerator Pro is one such fake security
application that is promoted as helpful application but in reality is
nothing more than a rogueware. It looks and cover is very similar to
legitimate application having Windows Logo on it. It gets installed
without the user consent and compels them to buy its full version. To
make it more realistic, it does a fake scanning and its report says
that the System is infected with several kinds of Malware and
Spyware. However, user should never believe on it as there is no such
infection present in your PC.
After getting successful
entry, Windows Accelerator Pro violates your security and basic
settings. It disables your default anti-virus and firewall settings.
It edits registry entries and installs several arbitrary codings in
it. It won't allow to edit any Windows application manually including
Registry Editor and Windows Task Manager. It is a very costly
application that is no use. Buying it is just a wastage of money.
Rather you compromise your System security. So, delete Windows
Accelerator Pro as early as possible.
